Who are we?
We are the Center for Active Mobility, an inter-university institution led by Nina Hampl from the Institute of Environmental Systems Science at the University of Graz and Aglaée Degros from the Institute of Urban Planning at Graz University of Technology.
Our core team and partners form a dynamic group of experts and researchers who are passionate about promoting successful mobility. Our focus is on active and public mobility, including forms of transportation such as walking, cycling, scooters, skateboards and e-bikes - all of which require muscle power. We are committed to diverse forms of mobility, which should be supported by political and social framework conditions, safe transport infrastructure and attractive public spaces.
